Capital markets research in accounting
I review empirical research on the relation between capital markets and financial statements. The principal sources of demand for capital markets research in accounting are fundamental analysis and valuation, tests of market efficiency, and the role of accounting numbers in contracts and the political process. The capital markets research topics of current interest to researchers include tests of market efficiency with respect to accounting informatio fundamental analysis, and value relevance of financial reporting. Evidence from research on these topics is likely to be helpful in capital market investment decisions, accounting standard setting, and corporate financial disclosure decisions

تحقيقات بازار سرمايه در حسابداري
من تحقيقات تجربي روي ارتباط بين بازارهاي سرمايه و صورت‌هاي مالي را مرور و بازبيني كردم. منابع اصلي تقاضا براي تحقيقات بازارهاي سرمايه در حسابداري ارزيابي و تجزيه و تحليل اساسي، آزمون بهره‌وري بازار و نقش ارقام حسابداري در قراردادها و فرآيند سياسي مي‌باشد. مباحث جذاب فعلي تحقيقات بازار سرمايه عبارتند از آزمون بهره‌وري بازار با توجه به تجزيه و تحليل اساسي اطلاعات حسابداري و ارتباط ارزشي گزارشگري مالي.
مدارك حاصل از تحقيقات روي اين مباحث به احتمال زياد در تصميمات سرمايه‌گذاري بازار سرمايه، تدوين استانداردهاي حسابداري و تصميمات افشاي مالي شركت‌ها مفيد باشد.
